***IMPORTANT***
Before replacing your old PRD with a shiny new one please check the following, it may be the reason why your current one has failed!
- Your shower head needs cleaning, either it’s blocked or scaled up
- Your shower hose and/or head has been replaced and does not match the original model
- Your hose has developed a fault, it may have become kinked or collapsed internally
- A quick rise in the cold-water mains supply pressure
So please check BEFORE fitting the new PRD, otherwise it is destined to happen again.
The PRD is a safety feature that will blow/burst if the shower fails to get rid of superheated water by allowing this water to escape, potentially saving critical damage to your shower.
You will receive a set of TWOÂ *NEW STYLE* angled PRD valves and diaphragm rubbers, a complete replacement for your existing burst valve.
PLEASE NOTE: – The original white/cream coloured PRD with the small rubber ball inside is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. You are purchasing Tritons updated and improved replacements
