Details
Need to connect a 1½” solvent-weld waste pipe to a smaller soil pipe? This black strap-on boss provides a practical connection point without replacing the existing soil pipe. It suits waste connections from baths, showers, washing machines, dishwashers and kitchen sinks.
However, check the waste connection carefully before ordering. Although 1½” solvent-weld waste pipe is commonly described as 40mm, this is a nominal size. The pipe should measure approximately 43mm externally to fit the supplied solvent adaptor.
For this reason, check the pipe diameter before installation. The strap-on fitting suits smaller 82mm (3″) soil and vent pipe. Also, the black strap and solvent adaptor come as separate components, so you will need to fit and glue them during installation.
