McAlpine MacXseal is a high-performance, multi-purpose hybrid polymer designed for both sealing and bonding. Specifically, this “Super Clear” formula is the only sealant officially tested and approved for use with McAlpine plumbing products. Unlike standard acetoxy silicons, it is solvent-free and will not cause “plastic decay” or stress-cracking in fittings. Furthermore, it contains a powerful fungicide to combat mould growth. Consequently, it is the ultimate “van essential” for trade professionals who require a permanent, leak-proof finish on any surface.
