Details

A genuine old Thomas Dudley Cascade S7B 8½” toilet syphon, identified by the markings “DUDLEY CASCADE 1-S7B-1 SYPHON” on the top.

This is the older red S7B design and is becoming increasingly difficult to find, making it particularly interesting as a replacement for an existing older Dudley installation or for restoration of an original toilet cistern. Historical Dudley documentation confirms the S7 Cascade was a 6/7/9 litre convertible syphon with a 38mm outlet, while the Dudley Syvac aspirator was designed for use with S7 Cascade syphons in syphonic WC installations.

The syphon has been stored for some time and therefore has some cosmetic storage marks, but there is no known damage that should affect its operation. The supplied washers and nuts are included.

There is an opening for a flush-volume adjustment component, but the adjuster itself is not present. It is therefore being sold with this omission clearly disclosed. The old Syvac aspirator is not included.

A particularly useful find for anyone repairing or restoring an older Dudley Cascade installation where the original S7B configuration needs to be retained.
