Shires Oblong Style Toilet Cistern Syphon Diaphragm Washer Only Siphon Washer

• For the Oblong Style Shires Toilet Syphons
• Replacement Diaphragm Sheet for your old Torn or Split one
• This Diaphragm will split over time allowing suction to be lost, causing you to pump the lever multiple times in order to get enough power for a flush

This shires syphon washer restores the vital suction your traditional Shires oblong toilet syphon needs to function. Because the durable, flexible plastic creates a perfect airtight seal against the rectangular piston, it lifts water into the syphon immediately when you pull the lever. Furthermore, the specialized oblong shape ensures a precise fit within the internal housing of the unit. It effectively eliminates the need to replace the entire syphon, providing a high-performance, cost-effective repair.

A perished or torn diaphragm often forces you to pump the toilet handle several times to get any water movement at all. Replacing the whole syphon involves a difficult, time-consuming process of disconnecting the water and removing the cistern from the wall. This shires syphon washer solves the problem by allowing for a fast, internal replacement. As a result, you restore a powerful, reliable flush in minutes and save the cost of a professional plumber.
