IMPORTANT: These are NOT standard 22mm olives. They are specifically designed for 3/4″ imperial copper pipe, which is slightly smaller than modern 22mm metric copper.

Details
These 3/4″ imperial olives provide a simple solution when connecting older imperial copper pipe to modern 22mm compression fittings.
Although 3/4″ and 22mm pipe sizes are very similar, they are not the same. Older British 3/4″ imperial copper has an outside diameter of approximately 21.4mm, so a standard 22mm compression olive will not correctly grip the pipe.
Instead, these brass olives fit inside a standard 22mm compression fitting and correctly grip the smaller imperial pipe. As a result, you can use modern 22mm compression fittings when working on older plumbing installations.
Please note: these are 3/4″ imperial olives, NOT ordinary 22mm olives. The fitting they go into may be marked 22mm, but the olive itself is designed for 3/4″ imperial copper pipe.
The pack contains 10 brass olives. Please check your existing pipe diameter before ordering.
