IMPORTANT: These fittings are 22mm on the outside because they use a 22mm compression fitting. The imperial olive inside is specifically designed to grip 3/4″ copper pipe. This is NOT a standard 22mm-to-22mm coupler.

These 22mm x 3/4″ compression adaptors solve a common problem when connecting modern metric plumbing fittings to older imperial copper pipework.
Although the fitting body measures 22mm and looks similar to a standard 22mm coupler, the internal imperial olive changes the application. The olive grips 3/4″ copper tube, allowing the fitting to connect imperial pipework to a standard 22mm compression fitting.
Please do not mistake these for ordinary 22mm couplers. The 22mm measurement refers to the compression fitting, while the imperial olive is designed specifically for 3/4″ copper pipe.
Therefore, if you need to connect 22mm metric plumbing to existing 3/4″ imperial copper, these adaptors provide the appropriate conversion.
