Details
This 82mm soil pipe strap boss provides a straightforward connection between a smaller 3″ / 82mm soil and vent pipe and compatible 40mm waste pipe.
The grey strap-on boss fits onto the 82mm soil pipe. Meanwhile, the supplied SP11 rubber push-fit adaptor provides the connection for 40mm waste pipe. FloPlast identifies SP11 specifically as its 40mm rubber push-fit boss adaptor.
The waste connection uses the 40mm nominal pipe size, but the actual outside diameter should measure approximately 43mm. Therefore, please measure your existing waste pipe before ordering rather than relying on the nominal size alone.
The rubber adaptor provides a convenient push-fit connection. As a result, you can connect compatible waste pipe without solvent-welding the waste pipe into the adaptor.
This type of connection can suit waste from applications such as basins, baths, showers and sinks. Furthermore, FloPlast states that its soil and waste systems are compatible with other manufacturers’ 32mm, 40mm and 110mm systems.
You receive one grey 82mm strap-on boss and one black SP11 rubber push-fit adaptor.
