These brass compression stop ends provide a simple way to cap 3/4″ imperial copper pipework using a modern compression fitting.
Although the compression fitting body is 22mm, the included imperial olive is specifically designed to grip 3/4″ copper pipe. Therefore, these fittings can be used when working on older plumbing installations that still use imperial pipe sizes.
Please note: these are NOT standard 22mm metric compression stop ends. The 22mm measurement refers to the compression fitting, while the imperial olive is designed for 3/4″ copper pipe.
They are useful when permanently capping an unused pipe run or temporarily stopping a pipe during plumbing alterations. The brass construction also provides a robust compression connection.
The pack contains two compression stop ends. Please check your existing pipe diameter before ordering.
